About this Role

The Governors of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly effective and committed individual to join our school as SENDCO.  Our school has a welcoming Christian ethos around our core values of Human Dignity, Compassion, Justice, Quality and Advocacy.  All members of the community are respected and valued. Pupils are courteous and keen to learn.

Within our academy trust we have a support network headed by an experienced Inclusion Lead, and a strong working relationship exists between all schools where expertise is shared regularly. The ideal candidate will blend their expert subject knowledge with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with families, staff and external organisations.

We are looking for someone who:

  •        Has high expectations of children's achievement and behaviour
  •        Enjoys being part of a learning community; working with colleagues, governors and parents
  •        An enthusiastic, warm and passionate individual who is dedicated to ensuring our children’s well-being
  •        A flexible, hardworking candidate
  •        An individual who is willing to work as part of a motivated team

We can offer:

  •        Enthusiastic and well-behaved pupils who enjoy all aspects of school life and who thrive on good relationships with staff
  •        A school committed to enabling every student to recognise and develop their gifts and talents
  •        An enthusiastic and friendly staff team
  •        A supportive Headteacher and Academy Committee committed to improving standards
