Taverham is an excellent, 11-18 school with a caring positive ethos, we seek to promote the development of students into resilient, independent young people, who are respectful and make a positive contribution to the wider community and beyond.

We are seeking to appoint an Attendance Manager to provide supportive intervention with students and families on attendance-related issues. The role of the Attendance Manager is to assist students to have excellent attendance to school and help them to overcome barriers to this. The successful candidate will be responsible for the recording, monitoring and reporting of whole school attendance. This role also includes supporting the senior leadership team and heads of year to intervene in order to raise attendance and decrease persistent absence.

You will be responsible for dealing with staff, students, parents/carers and external agencies dealing with all administration in respect of attendance, registers, absence calls follow ups, home visits and meeting with external agencies. You will have excellent IT experience and be able to produce detailed reports for the Senior Leadership Team as and when required.
