The Compass Academy is a unique Alternative Provision setting which supports KS3 pupils from across the city of Hull and outer areas who have been permanently excluded, at risk of exclusion or require further assessment or support of special educational needs.

This role will support the welfare and progress of pupils' in their learning, behaviour and transitions as well as lead on pastoral support to pupils, providing advice and guidance and implementing agreed plans to encourage learning and overcome barriers to learning. The post holder will work with pupils in school who are experiencing complex emotional needs due to a range of factors.
Experience of working in like settings or experience of supporting vulnerable children is recommended.
The successful postholder should have a full driving license as occasional car usage is required.
