About this Role

Work where it matters most, achieve what matters more.

Be part of a team where passion meets purpose, as we work together where the challenge is greatest to change the lives and build the futures of children and young people.

Ormiston Denes Academy is seeking to appoint a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour and Pastoral Assistant to support students’ wellbeing, behaviour, and personal development. This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young people.

Working closely with teaching staff, pastoral leaders, and the wider inclusion team, you will support students who may experience behavioural, emotional, or social challenges, helping them to engage positively with school life and achieve their potential.

In this role you will be responsible for providing targeted behaviour and pastoral support to individual students or small groups. You will monitor and record student progress, behaviour and any wellbeing concerns.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with children or young people preferably in an educational/pastoral setting. You have strong communication skills, empathy and ability to develop relationships. You will be committed to inclusion, safeguarding and promoting positive outcomes for all students.
