An exciting opportunity has arisen at Ormiston Denes
Academy, we are looking for a passionate and student focused individual to join our
well established, experienced team.
As our Learning Support Assistant you will support learning
within classrooms, work one to one with targeted students and run interventions
to help learners with special educational needs to thrive.
You will be committed to ensuring the removal of barriers to
learning in the classroom environment, whilst also supporting with students'
social and emotional wellbeing.
This role is for a fixed term period until August 2026 and
will be working 30.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 days (39 working weeks
per year).

About you
With excellent communication skills and the ability to build
relationships with students and staff, ideally, you will have experience
of working with children in an educational setting and supporting them with
their learning and behaviour.
You will hold GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (C and
above) and have excellent ICT and keyboard skills.
