We are seeking passionate and dedicated school governors to support our schools across the Trust, including at Fieldhead Primary Academy.

Governors play an important role in creating great schools are heart of our communities. They provide local challenge, support and scrutiny to school leaders for the academic performance, quality of care and provision for pupils. Governors act as a critical friend to the school, championing and challenging for continuous improvement in the best interests of pupils.

There are no set qualifications for becoming a governor and you will receive all the training and support needed to fulfil the role.

  • Attendance of six meetings and a school visit each year
