Required for September 2026, the Academy Council of this high achieving and oversubscribed Catholic Voluntary Academy is looking to appoint two highly motivated Teaching Assistants to support the education, personal and social development of students with additional needs under the teacher’s clear guidance.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely under the direction of the SENCo to deliver agreed learning programmes and intervention strategies for individuals and groups of students, both within and beyond the classroom. This may also involve supporting teachers with lesson planning, classroom management, and the preparation of resources.
You will build positive relationships with young people, work collaboratively with colleagues, and demonstrate strong organisational abilities. As an enthusiastic and reliable team member, you will show initiative, be capable of working independently, and maintain a well-organised approach to your responsibilities.
