About this Role

Hooe Primary Academy is seeking a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic PPA Teacher (EYFS / Foundation) to join our committed team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented teacher who is driven to make a real difference and support our youngest learners during their crucial early years.

As our PPA Teacher, you will:

  • Work alongside class teachers, covering their PPA time, to deliver high-quality teaching and learning in EYFS / Foundation Stage
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the learning and developmental needs of all pupils
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children to support their wellbeing and educational success
  • Ensure effective planning, assessment, recording and reporting
  • Deliver both statutory and non-statutory assessments
  • Create a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment
  • Lead and direct support staff effectively within lessons
  • Work closely with leaders and teachers to track pupil progress and implement interventions where needed

About the School

Hooe Primary Academy is a Happy school where everyone is Passionate and Ambitious about learning.  

We are a one form entry school within Hooe which was established in 1926. We have a fantastic school site with three playgrounds, a large school field, and additional classroom spaces which are used for a range of activities. Our primary aim is to encourage all our pupils to be self-confident, inquiring, tolerant, positive individuals, who have respect for the differences of others.

Our children are friendly, kind and keen to learn; this is a reflection of our whole school team. Our team is very driven and everyone works hard to ensure we provide the very best.
