We are looking to appoint a high quality Teaching Assistant to support our fantastic children with EHCPs on a 1:1 basis. The Teaching Assistant will be committed to providing an imaginative and stimulating learning environment for our SEND children.

 Hooe Primary Academy is seeking a candidate that will go the extra mile for our children and the community.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of working within a primary school setting
• Excellent communication skills
• Passionate about SEND
• Experience working with children with SEND
• Experience implementing positive behaviour strategies
• Passionate about teaching and learning
• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English grade C or above and be able to illustrate good literacy and numeracy skills
• NVQ2/3 or equivalent qualification or be working towards the qualification

We are a one form entry school within Hooe which was established in 1926. We have a fantastic school site with three playgrounds, a large school field, and additional classroom spaces which are used for a range of activities.
