Widewell Primary has an exciting opportunity for a  dedicated, caring Family Support Advisor, to join our outstanding team who will support the overall School Improvement Plan and priorities by supporting families to engage and thrive in an academic environment. They will ensure that families are best able to support their children’s learning and ensure that pupils are kept safe, and agencies are liaised with to ensure families remain safeguarded.

We are looking for a Family Support Advisor who will: 

• Have an understanding of educational systems and services
• Have experience of strategic communication through social media and websites
•         Have excellent communication skills to establish contact  and build relationships with parents, carers and families
• Have awareness of, and compliance with, Policies and procedures relating to child protection, confidentiality and data protection     
•         Have sound working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
•         Be proficient in email
• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English grade C/4 or above

The successful candidate will have a positive 'can-do' attitude, be flexible and have high levels of both emotional literacy and resilience.
