Are you passionate about working with children and being an integral part of our wonderful team making a difference in children’s lives?  If so, Widewell Primary have an exciting opportunity for a hardworking, dedicated and creative Teaching Assistant, to join our outstanding team and make a difference in children’s lives. The successful Teaching Assistant will be enthusiastic, a good team player and committed to supporting the learning of pupils.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be committed to supporting pupil’s learning and to help pupils surpass their expectations. Widewell Primary are seeking candidates that will go the extra mile for our children and the community.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who: 

  • Have experience of working within a primary school or early years setting
  • Can build relationships with and nurture pupils to enable positive educational outcomes
  • Have experience implementing positive behaviour strategies
  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working·        
  • GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English grade C/4 or above
  • NVQ2/3 or equivalent or working towards the qualification is desirable
