Westbourne Academy are looking for an Academy Receptionist to join our dedicated team and uphold the Academy’s vision and values.

 

About you:-

We are looking for a positive and committed individual who has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, has a pro-active approach and the ability to work independently, as well as the ability to relate well to visitors, staff and students. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly team.

Our receptionist values the need to create a good first impression for visitors and phone callers and values the importance of safeguarding and security at the front of school. Our receptionist deals with a wide range of academy and community stakeholders and their queries, and they are the first point of contact. Confidentiality and tact are needed at all times, and the Receptionist must know when and who to refer matters of concern.

The successful candidate will hold GCSE grade C/4 or above in English and Maths and have excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.  A good working knowledge of Microsoft IT platforms (word, excel, outlook) is desirable.
