for a Design & Technology Technician who strives to share their passion for
education with our students and join our dedicated team to uphold the Academy’s

About you:-
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is self-motivated,
to provide an efficient and effective technician
support service to the school’s Design
& Technology Department in order to achieve the highest
possible standards and promote the academy ethos of STAR. You will relish the opportunity to work with
young people in a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.
The successful candidate will lead
by example and consistently embody our high expectations. You will be able to use your own initiative, to
support students and teaching staff by preparing equipment and materials and
supporting with classroom practicals and demonstrations. Previous experience in a relatable role within
an educational establishment is desirable but not essential. This role
requires, a grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths and a willingness to
complete additional training/qualifications as required.
