Cleaner – St. George’s Church of England Primary School

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our friendly team at St. George’s Church of England Primary School.

This is an important role in helping us provide a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our children, staff and visitors.

Key details

  • Hours: 10 hours per week (3:30–5:30pm or 4:00–6:00pm)
  • Salary: £6,037 – £6,228
  • Reporting to: Site Manager

About the role

You will be responsible for cleaning classrooms and shared areas to a high standard. This may include:

  • Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Cleaning toilets and wash areas
  • Wiping surfaces, fixtures and fittings
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  • Using cleaning equipment and materials safely

You will also help to keep the school tidy by spotting jobs that need doing and taking pride in your work.

  • Is positive and happy to contribute to school life

Experience of cleaning is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided.
