About this Role

30 Hours per week, Term Time only (plus training days)

NJC Scale Level 1D Point Range 2-3 starting point 2

Mon to Fri - 8am to 2.30pm

Due to internal promotion we are seeking a kitchen assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.

The role will require you to exercise your professional catering skills in the preparation, serving and replenishment of food in our kitchen and serving hatches. You will also be responsible for operating a payment system and must adhere to health and safety as well as food hygiene regulations and standards. The role will also require you to clean and tidy the kitchen and dining areas, as required.

We have recently redecorated the canteen area and have invested in new ovens and equipment to support the kitchen in providing quality and fresh homemade meals.

If you are seeking to join a committed and enthusiastic team in a school where collaboration and development are fully supported, then we would be delighted to receive your application.

We are committed to the protection and safety of our students and the successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

We reserve the right to invite candidates for interview prior to the closing date and to close vacancies early if we have sufficient suitable applications. Therefore, we encourage interested applicants to apply as soon as possible.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

We look forward to receiving your application!

The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment
