DEPUTY HEADTEACHER

Strategic Leadership and Management of Curriculum and Standards

Leadership Spine Range L20-L24 (£79,475 to £87,651 FTE per annum)

Starting point L20

Required to start April 2025

Due to external promotion, we wish to appoint an experienced, highly motivated and dedicated senior leader to join our dynamic and supportive team. Our school are looking to appoint an exceptional Deputy Headteacher to support the Headteacher on the next phase of our journey. You will be responsible for the strategic leadership and management of Curriculum and Standards.

As a member of the Leadership Team you will be involved in a wide range of whole school leadership responsibilities and the post will provide excellent preparation for career progression into a Headteacher post. We support all staff with their continual professional development, to include the NPQH for senior leaders at the right stage of their careers.

If you are an inspirational, strategic senior leader with a successful proven track record at a senior leadership level and would like to join a committed, dynamic and supportive team to further drive the school’s improvement, we would be delighted to receive your application.

Visits during the school day and conversations with the Headteacher are welcomed – please contact Lisa Caruso, HR Manager on l.caruso@mrus.co.uk to arrange.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. We welcome applications regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.
