As Principal, we’ll look to you to provide professional leadership and management of the Academy that will promote a secure foundation from which to achieve high standards in all areas of our work. Whether that’s effectively manage teaching and learning, promoting excellence, equality and high expectations for all pupils and staff or providing a clear vision and strategic direction, one thing’s for sure – you won’t be short of challenges.

 From evaluating the academy’s performance and identify priorities for continuous improvement to deploying resources to achieve its aims, you’ll be instrumental in making things happen, every step of the way. And, when it comes to strengthening our parental engagement, securing the commitment of the wider community or working effectively with Trust colleagues, again, we’ll count on you to deliver.

To apply, you’ll need evidence of regular, recent and appropriate professional development for the role of Principal, in-depth experience of teaching in at least two key stages and a good understanding of EYFS and key stages One and Two. As well as outstanding teaching skills, you have a proven ability to provide guidelines and models of high-quality teaching and know how to build an excellent team and trust it to deliver. You also have what it takes to develop strategies that encourage parents/carers to support their children’s learning. In short, you’re ready to take the next step in your successful career to date.
