Do you have a real passion for the sciences, along with a true passion for working closely with children and aiding their development and learning? We are looking for a Science Teacher to be part of a rapidly improving department within an Academy that strives for excellence.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and inter-personnel skills, have a pro-active approach and the ability to work independently as well as the ability to relate well to staff and students. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a friendly team.

Why choose Iceni Academy? Iceni Academy Methwold is on a journey to transform the lives of all students and staff with whom we work. We are determined to give our students the very best education possible so they can realise their full potential and succeed in their later lives, by offering them a broad and balanced knowledge-rich curriculum, rooted in strong pedagogy, throughout their time studying with us. We hold this as the gold standard for all our students, with Ofsted inspectors particularly noting that ‘Leaders….have high expectations of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND)’.

Our ATT2030 Vision means we meet our young people where they are at and refuse to leave them there.  Our pupils will leave us capable, competent and confident and take their place in the community of educated people.  Our staff will be cared for, developed and they do will be capable, competent and confident.  We would love to hear from those who want to join us in that mission.
