Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will plan and deliver high-quality History lessons across the secondary age range, securing strong progress for all students. They will contribute to the development and delivery of an ambitious and coherent History curriculum, using assessment effectively to inform teaching and provide meaningful feedback. They will establish and maintain high standards of behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment that meets the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and from disadvantaged backgrounds. The role requires strong collaboration with colleagues within the department and across the school, alongside a commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice. You will work closely with colleagues, support staff, and families to provide an engaging, inclusive learning environment where all pupils thrive both academically and personally.

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable History teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning. The successful candidate will have strong subject knowledge, high expectations of all pupils, and a reflective approach to their practice.
This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners. ECTs will benefit from a supportive induction and coaching programme, while experienced teachers will have opportunities to contribute to curriculum development and wider departmental improvement.
