Due to our increasing PAN and student numbers, we
are excited to offer the opportunity to join our academy as our staff body
continues to grow and support our larger year groups of 220 students. This is
an exciting time to join our academy as we celebrate our Outstanding Academy
Inspection in November 2023. Inspectors stated that Bristnall Hall Academy is a
“truly inclusive and harmonious school” and that “everyone is proud to be part
of a close-knit school community that is working together with a common purpose.”
Our staff “feel valued” and our classrooms “ooze enthusiasm and productivity”.
We are seeking to appoint an organised
individual with awareness of health & safety regulations and the ability to
prioritise work tasks, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of
secondary education. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious professional with
proven experience of working under pressure to meet deadlines. Experience of working with children in an
education setting is desirable but not essential. Reporting to the Area Leader for Science, this role will involve providing
technical support to meet the needs of the Science Faculty and under the
direction of the Principal, carry out academy maintenance duties in the
proportion of hours set aside and aggregated for this purpose including
offering first aid assistance to our students.
The successful candidate will join an academy which is dynamic and
inspiring; creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students. To
succeed, you will have a good academic standard of general education to GCSE
grade C/4 in English and Maths and have good basic computer skills. We are keen
to secure an individual who can make a telling contribution to our team. The
department is part of a well led, mutually supportive Science team; there is a
very strong commitment to improving standards. The appointed candidate will
work collaboratively with colleagues and will be supported by a strong SLT.
Why choose Bristnall Hall Academy? We have a key focus on staff well-being, with a number of
initiatives in place across the academy including bespoke departmental marking
and assessment policies which have dramatically reduced teacher workload. If
you want to inspire, aspire and achieve, come and join something special and
make your mark.
We aim to provide our young people with the qualifications, skills
and attributes to have a successful and happy life.
About Academy Transformation Trust
Our ATT2030 Vision means we meet our young people
where they are at and refuse to leave them there. Our pupils will leave
us capable, competent and confident and take their place in the community of
educated people. Our staff will be cared for, developed and they do will
be capable, competent and confident. We would love to hear from those who
want to join us in that mission.
In return, you can expect fantastic Professional Development opportunities, a comprehensive employee benefits package,
shopping discounts, cycle-to-work and gym schemes, cinema tickets and an
employee assistance programme.
Bristnall
Hall Academy is part of the Academy Transformation Trust family, whose ambition
is that every person who passes through our schools and colleges becomes an
educated person – able to take a rightful place in the community of educated
people and to join what Robert Maynard Hutchins called “the Great
Conversation.” An ATT education stresses history, the scientific mode of
thinking, the disciplined use of language, a wide-ranging knowledge of the arts
and religion, and the continuity of human enterprise. We aspire for everyone,
regardless of their starting point, to leave us capable, competent, and
confident.
