About this Role

Join Oak Academy as our HR Academy Lead/Office Manager and play a vital role in leading a high‑performing administrative team at the heart of our school community. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised, proactive and people‑focused professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys making a real difference every day.

You’ll oversee HR processes, office operations and safeguarding compliance, working closely with the Principal, Trust People Team and colleagues across the Academy. If you're a confident communicator with strong leadership skills and a passion for creating positive, efficient and welcoming school systems, we’d love to hear from you.

About this Role

This role will include: overseeing the daily administration of the academy office including line managing, training and developing the administration team, being responsible for all office and administrative operations within the Academy, being responsible for Human Resources and People Processes including recruitment, payroll and sickness absence administration, as well as providing assistance to the principal and the academy's leadership team.

In order to be successful in this role you will: 

Be enthusiastic, motivated, focused, professional, personable and resilient

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Have an ability to organise and prioritise your work, working to deadlines

Be competent in the use of Microsoft packages Word and Excel and Management Information Systems (for example, Arbor, SAMPeople). Minute taking experience is desirable but training can be provided.

Be able to work successfully with a range of people, including the wider school community

Promote the vision and values of Authentic Education at all times
