We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Lincoln Carlton Academy. You will support pupils with a range of needs, working both one-to-one and with small groups, to promote learning, development, and independence.

Working closely with teachers and the wider school team, you will contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment and support the delivery of engaging classroom activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support teaching and learning activities, including preparation of resources and classroom organisation
  • Work with individual pupils and small groups, including those with special educational needs
  • Promote pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
  • Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to teachers as required
  • Assist with the delivery of literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum initiatives
  • Support behaviour management in line with school policies
  • Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
  • Provide basic first aid and support personal care needs where required
  • Assist with movement around the school and supervision of pupils
