Technology
The role: The Teacher of Food Technology will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching with the aim of helping students develop a broad base of skills through practical, investigational and theoretical work at Key Stage 3 and 4.The Teacher of Food must be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and communicate this in an enthusiastic and imaginative way in both practical and theory lesson. The successful candidate will set clear learning targets, assess student progress with regular feedback, and ensure students are well-prepared for examinations. With a genuine passion for the varied curriculum and opportunities this role will provide, you will help our students grow academically, socially, and emotionally, while staying up-to-date with national food, nutrition, technology developments, exam board guidance, and statutory requirements.

Kingsthorpe College is an oversubscribed 11-18
school with approximately 1,400 students on roll (200 students post 16) Graded
Good in all areas by Ofsted in December 2019, we are now looking forward to the

inspection, inspectors noted significant improvements since their previous
visit, highlighting high expectations of pupils, strong pupil progress, our
