About this Role

We are recruiting for a teaching assistant SEN at Briar Hill Primary School based in Northampton

About the role

5 GCSE at C grade or above including Maths and English Desirable 

Level 3 Certificate in Supporting T & L in Schools or equivalent

Experience of working with children or young people

To support in the organization and management of pupils and the classroom.

 To work with the team in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment. 

 To promote the inclusion of all pupils, ensuring they have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop. 

 To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

30 hours per week, Term Time 39 weeks Part-time Fixed Term Contract.

It is a new teaching assistant  role obtained  with additional  funding . We would love you to work with our team to support various children's needs.

Who we are looking for 

 To work with individuals and groups of pupils to deliver learning programmes.

 To encourage pupils to interact with others and engage in activities.

To assist with the general pastoral care of the pupils, including helping pupils who are unwell, distressed or unsettled.

To assist the pupils with personal needs as appropriate.
