Vacancy: SENCO AHT/ Senior Leadership Team /inclusion Lead

Little Mead Primary Academy is looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and talented SENCO to join us from September 2026 and play an active role in continuing our exciting journey as a school. This is a rare opportunity to join our dedicated, professional and fun team. The position has become available as the current post holder has been promoted within the Trust. The school is in a great place with our systems and routines and is graded strong standard from Ofsted (2026) for inclusion, though there is still more to do to take us to the next level.

Our school, which includes a thriving Nursery, caters for all children from rising 3 to 11 years old. • can support teachers with their practice and effectively signpost to appropriate provision 
• has great communication skills and will work closely with our caring parent body 
• can build strong relationships with our diverse pupils and range of needs 
• has the highest expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour 
• can work effectively as part of a team; understanding how to get the best out of themselves and others 
• can motivate, inspire colleagues in an ever-changing educational landscape 
• can continue the strong relationships with the local authority SEN department 
• is keen to develop professional expertise 
• is creative, flexible and can work to deadlines
