This is a full-time, permanent teaching post at St John's and St Peter's C of E Primary, a one-form entry school of 210 pupils in the heart of Ladywood, Birmingham. In this role, you'll be:
- Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across the curriculum
- Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- Using assessment effectively to track progress and adapt your teaching
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including enrichment, trips and whole-school events
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and external professionals
- Meeting the needs of a diverse cohort, including pupils with SEND and EAL
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds QTS and has experience teaching in a primary setting
- Has high expectations of every child, regardless of starting point
- Is reflective, open to feedback, and committed to their own development
- Understands or is willing to learn about the challenges and strengths of an urban, inner-city community
