Ormiston South Parade Academy is a vibrant learning

The overall
purpose of this post is to develop clerical and administrative skills to
support the Academy’s administrative and office function. The post holder will
be responsible for administrative and reprographics duties including promoting
a welcoming environment; promoting and supporting effective communication between
school and parents and promoting and supporting effective day-to-day
organisation within the Academy.
The successful candidate will be part of a team providing administrative and clerical support across the academy to ensure that communications and reports are made in a timely manner.

The position is full time during term time only, including 5 INSET days across the year and is fixed term for 18 months with the view of achieving a level 3 certificate in Business Administration by the end of the 18 month fixed period.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of GCSE maths & English with grades A* - C or equivalent, have good working knowledge of ICT systems including word processing and spreadsheets and good communication skills both verbally and written. They should be flexible, adaptable, resilient and conscientious.
