About this Role

Are you passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and nurturing school team.

While this role is primarily suited to a Level 1 Teaching Assistant, we welcome applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates at Level 2.

In this role, you will support individual pupils, particularly those with special educational needs, in line with their Education, Health, and Care Plans. You’ll also work with small groups to deliver targeted interventions, assist with classroom preparation, and help create an inclusive, positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging learning activities.

  • Support pupils’ educational, emotional, and social development, encouraging independence and confidence.

  • Monitor pupil progress and contribute to learning plans and pupil profiles.

  • Provide personal care and basic first aid when required.

  • Promote a safe, caring, and stimulating environment.

  • Support the implementation of behaviour and safeguarding policies.

You will also play a vital role in supporting children with additional needs, fostering their growth and helping them thrive both in and out of the classroom.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A caring and proactive individual with strong communication skills.

  • A team player who shares our commitment to inclusive education.

  • Relevant experience or qualifications in a school or childcare setting.

  • Familiarity with EHCPs and the ability to tailor support to meet individual needs.

If you’re ready to make a meaningful difference every day, we’d love to hear from you.
