Reepham High
School and College is located 14 miles North-West of Norwich.
As our Food Technician, you will support by
ensuring that the food room is prepared for lessons, food demonstrations and
science investigations. From preparing ingredients for introductory sessions to
supporting the complex requirements of GCSE Food Preparation & Nutrition,
your support will ensure that every lesson is safe, organised, and inspiring.
You will manage the procurement of fresh ingredients ensuring value for money,
maintain an accurate inventory of stock, and ensure all equipment is ready for
teacher demonstrations and student practicals.
You will provide technical guidance to students,
helping them master cooking techniques and maintain high standards of hygiene.
Safety and compliance are central to this role; you will ensure all activities
meet CLEAPSS and Food Standards Agency guidelines, manage cleaning schedules,
and monitor food storage to ensure a safe, professional workspace.
There is also the opportunity to deliver 2.5 hours of KS5 (College Students) Enrichment lessons at Instructor Rate delivering ‘Cooking on a Budget’.
