About the role

We are seeking to appoint a full-time qualified and innovative teacher of English who will inspire our young people, promote a personal passion for English and ensure that all students excel in this subject area. The faculty currently offers a wide range of opportunities at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. 

Results for both English Language and English Literature continue to exceed national level. We are an ambitious faculty with high aspirations for all our students. You must be committed to being a team member who will want to ensure that all students, at all academic levels, receive an outstanding experience in their English lessons. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to exceptionally high standards of classroom practice alongside a genuine regard for exceptional progress and quality care of all our young people.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher to join our Academy, this role would be suitable for all teachers including ECT’s and those completing their PGCE year.
