About this Role

Charters School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join us in September 2026.

The successful candidate will be: 

Committed to promoting high-quality teaching of Science (Chemistry, Physics and or Biology)

Inspire students to have a passion for the subject and have high expectations of all students 

An excellent classroom practitioner with an understanding of high-quality learning and ensuring Science is a vibrant subject within the school community.

Experienced at teaching Science KS3 & KS4 (KS5 desirable).


Charters School is a heavily oversubscribed 11–18 comprehensive school with 1,710 students on roll, including 390 in the Sixth Form.

*Incentive bonus is subject to offer and would be paid on completion of a satisfactory probationary period, in two stages, £2,000 after six months and £2,000 after twelve months. Pro-rata for part time.*
