About this Role

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and flexible Exams and Data Manager to play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of examinations and the accuracy of school data.

Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, you will oversee all aspects of the exams process—from entry to results—and ensure full compliance with Examination Board and school policies, procedures, and deadlines. As the first point of contact for staff regarding examinations and data, you will provide expert guidance, support, and high-quality information.

This permanent role offers the opportunity to develop professionally, contribute to whole-school improvement, and make a meaningful impact on students’ educational experience.

About Us

Christ the King Voluntary Academy, located in Arnold, Nottingham, is a successful secondary school rated GOOD by Ofsted.

Our mission is “to provide the best education and care for all in a living faith community.” We believe this is achieved when every member of our community—staff, students, parents, and governors—works together, supports one another, and strives to reach their full potential.

We are proud to be part of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, comprising 36 Catholic primary and secondary schools across Lincolnshire, Nottingham City, and Nottinghamshire.

The Successful Candidate Will:

  • Work 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 1 week (to cover summer results days).
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organisation, time management, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Have strong IT skills (including Word and Excel).
  • Be able to inspire and support students through the exam process.

What we're looking for:

  • Enthusiasm for working with young people and helping them achieve their best.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach with a commitment to supporting both staff and students.
  • Respect for, and willingness to promote, our Catholic ethos (you do not need to be Catholic to apply).

What's in it for you?

  • Actual salary: £24,912 – £27,516 per annum (OLOL Band 5, Scale Points 19–24).
  • Wonderful students who are eager to learn and deserve the very best.
  • A supportive environment with talented, dedicated colleagues.
  • Terms and conditions aligned with nationally agreed pay frameworks for teachers and support staff.

Fantastic Benefits

  • Generous Pension Scheme with employer contributions over 20%.
  • Access to high-quality CPD tailored to your professional growth.
  • Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) offering emotional, financial, and legal support.
  • Staff benefits package including discounts and Cycle to Work scheme.
  • A welcoming community that values your skills and expertise.

Closing Date: Monday 29 September 2025 at 9.00am

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed—we would love for you to come and see our community in action. Please contact the school to arrange a visit or to discuss the role further.

A Welcoming, Inclusive Community

You do not need to be Catholic to work within our Trust. We warmly welcome applicants from all backgrounds, cultures, beliefs, and none. Diversity enriches our school community and is fundamental to our values. We strive to ensure every staff member feels a strong sense of belonging.

We are a Disability Confident Committed employer and welcome applications from candidates with disabilities or long-term health conditions.

Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff are expected to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check and other pre-employment checks, including online searches, will be required for successful applicants.
