This is a great opportunity to
become part of our highly professional, friendly, support team.
You will have a “can do”
attitude and are practical, calm, energetic and diligent. Previous experience
would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
As well as ensuring exam board
regulations are adhered to throughout the exam process and that the
examinations run smoothly, Exam Invigilators will also assist with setting up
the exams hall, distributing and collecting exam papers and ensuring students
are seated according to seating plans.
Although most of our students
will sit exams in our dedicated exams hall, our Exams Invigilators may also
need to give additional support to those students sitting exams individually by
becoming a reader and/or scribe.
Flexibility of hours to be
worked is essential. Mock exams run in November and March, with the main
external exam season running from May to July. Morning sessions start at
8.30am, generally finishing around 11.30am, afternoon sessions start at
12.30pm, usually finishing by 3.10pm. Exact dates would be confirmed well in
advance, with the possibility of additional sessions being offered later as
unexpected situations arise.
