Nansen Primary School is
looking to appoint a receptionist to join our admin team. The school is part of
Leigh Trust.
We are looking for an employee
with admin experience, preferably within a school admin team.
Main requirements / responsibilities of the role:

Reception and admin
duties
- ·
Excellent verbal and
written English skills (these will be tested at interview)
- ·
A positive attitude and
effective communication skills
- ·
The ability to work
accurately to tight deadlines
- ·
A commitment to
ensuring confidentiality
- ·
Ability to prioritise,
multi task and work as part of a team
- ·
Data entry, letter
writing and filing
- ·
Providing
reception and switchboard support to the school
- · Providing
clerical support to the school’s administrative function
- ·
Receiving,
signing in and dealing with or directing pupils, parents and other school
visitors as appropriate
- ·
Taking
telephone calls and delivering messages as appropriate
- ·
Dealing
with pupils who are late, recording on MIS and relaying information to
Attendance Officer
- ·
Receiving
and sorting incoming mail for delivery to appropriate staff.
- ·
Occasional
routine word processing, as and when required
