At Rushbrook Primary Academy, our students are diverse, exciting and talented – and the same is true of our staff. We put huge emphasis on professional development, most of it in-house, and are proud of the high number of good and outstanding teachers who work in our school. We are also noted for our ‘can do’ attitude. We are keen, always, to encourage new staff to make their mark as soon as they are ready.
We are proud to serve our community in Gorton and the surrounding areas. We are looking to build upon our strengths and develop into a truly great place to learn and teach.
Can you help us on our development journey?
Within this role as Primary Learning Assistant, you will be working within a whole class setting alongside the class teacher. You will also work with both small groups of students and on a one-to-one basis.
Within the classroom, there are a range of students with special educational needs to greater depth standard and you will be helping to ensure that they have equal opportunity and access to learning.
You will be a proactive, positive individual with the ability to work well with different personalities and ideally have experience working with students in some capacity.
This is an excellent opportunity for graduates who are looking to gain experience within a supportive school environment, prior to making an application to train to teach. That being said, we warmly welcome a diverse range of candidates.
