About this Role

We welcome applications from teachers who can bring a real passion for teaching and their subject to the school and who will continue to raise the already high standards of educational achievement. The history department has a strong record of success and is an experienced team who would be able to offer effective support for an ECT.

Acle Academy is a thriving secondary school for 11-16 year olds located in the heart of the Broadland area only 12 miles from the centre of Norwich and was graded Ofsted Good in February 2022. We strive to create well-rounded, responsible individuals who seize opportunities, discover their passions and love to learn throughout life. Acle Academy has a strong academic record and a reputation for providing high quality pastoral care.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic colleague to join a motivated team of teachers. The successful candidate will be required to teach History across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Are you:

  • passionate about your subject?
  • a dedicated and imaginative practitioner, who is committed to improving teaching and learning?
