About the Role - DofE Manager
•
Promotion of the DofE
across the School and with parents and the wider community
•
Recruitment and sign Lip of new DofE participants
•
Coordination with parents regarding their child’s progress through the award
•
Regular meetings
with participants to guide them and monitor their progress
•
Signing off on the DofE record book for all participants
•
Assessing the Bronze level expedition
•
Organising Assessors for Silver and Gold expedition
•
Coordinate with the
DofE Area Manager on the maintenance of our DofE
licence
•
Plan and run all expeditions (approximately 5 per year)
•
Maintain a healthy budget
• Manage the equipment store, purchase and care of equipment
