The governors of Kelsall
Primary and Nursery School are seeking to recruit a caring, proactive and
skilled Teaching Assistant to join our Kelsall Crew. Our ideal candidate will
bring enthusiasm, adaptability and a commitment to inclusive education. They
will support all pupils, including those with SEND and those who are
Disadvantaged, to engage positively in learning and achieve their best. This
role involves working under the direction of the class teacher and with the
wider staff team to help create a calm, purposeful and welcoming environment
where every child feels they belong.

The successful
candidate will support teaching and learning in the classroom each morning,
including delivering phonics sessions, working with individuals and small
groups, and helping to maintain a vibrant learning environment. All Teaching
Assistants at Kelsall also provide lunchtime support to ensure a positive, safe
and inclusive experience for all pupils.

Supporting
teaching and learning under the direction of the class teacher

and supporting high-quality phonics teaching

Working
with individuals and small groups—including those with SEND and Disadvantaged
pupils—to help them access learning and make progress

Contributing
to the planning, preparation and adaptation of learning resources

Encouraging
positive participation and inclusion in classroom activities and wider school
life
·
Building
strong, supportive relationships with pupils that reflect our No Outsiders ethos
·
Supporting
pupils during lunchtime as part of the whole-school lunchtime team
· Communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure a consistent, collaborative approach
We are looking for someone who:

experience of working with primary-aged children

Demonstrates
a warm, inclusive and child-centred approach

Shows

Is
enthusiastic, flexible and able to use initiative

collaboratively as part of a team
