Key responsibilities: 

• Support pupils in Key Stage 2 (Years 3–6) to access learning and achieve their full potential.
• Work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality support within the classroom.
• Provide targeted intervention support to individuals and small groups in literacy, numeracy, and other curriculum areas.
• Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
•  Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers as required.

Pay range: SCP5-7 - £19,764.35 - £20,397.85 - FTE £25,583.00 -£26403.00  -  32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year - fixed term - 31.08.2027

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Good literacy, numeracy, and ICT skills.
• Experience working with primary-aged children, preferably within KS2.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and commitment to supporting all learners.
