About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team on a fixed‑term basis for one year, starting in September 2026. This role will play a key part in supporting teaching and learning across the academy and helping pupils to thrive both academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support high‑quality learning for individuals, small groups and whole‑class activities.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging, inclusive and well‑structured learning experiences.
  • Help create a positive and supportive learning environment where all pupils feel safe and valued.
  • Provide targeted support to pupils with additional or specific needs.
  • Assist with classroom organisation, resources and displays.
  • Contribute to monitoring and recording pupil progress, feeding back to teaching staff.
  • Promote positive behaviour and act as a role model in line with school values.
  • Work collaboratively as part of the whole‑school team to support pupils’ wellbeing and development.
