Join Our Team as a Class Teacher at THPA!

Are you an enthusiastic and ambitious teacher looking for an exciting opportunity? THPA has a temporary position for a Class Teacher to join our team for one year, covering from September 2025 to August 2026. This role is particularly suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT).

About the Role:

As a Class Teacher, you will work under the guidance and instruction of the senior leadership team to enable access to learning for all pupils. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, teaching, monitoring, assessing, and evaluating the education for the children taught.
  • Sharing in the corporate responsibility for the well-being and discipline of all pupils.
  • Taking responsibility for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the class, ensuring equality of opportunity for all.
  • Being responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct.
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.
  • Working constructively as a member of staff within the whole school team.
  • Acting within the statutory frameworks, which set out professional duties and responsibilities, in line with the current School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document and Teacher Standards (2012).
