About this Role

Job title: Midday Supervisor

Reports to: SENCO, Head Teacher

Hours: 12:00pm - 1:30pm Monday to Friday, 38 weeks per year

Location: Crofton Infant School


We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) team. This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) during the lunchtime period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support pupils in the ARP during lunch and playtime
  • Assist with eating, social interaction, and play activities
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence, and inclusion
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and dignity of all pupils
  • Work closely with ARP staff to meet individual pupil needs

What We’re Looking For:

  • A calm, patient, and caring approach
  • Experience working with children, ideally those with SEND (desirable)
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to respond sensitively to pupils’ needs
  • A commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
