About this Role

Meadowhead School and Sixth Form have a unique opportunity for an experienced Teacher of A-Level Psychology to join us on a permanent basis. The start date will be September 2026 however, where candidates are immediately available, an earlier start date may be discussed. 

We welcome applicants interested in working part time for this position, please indicate in your application your preference regarding working hours as we can be flexible to suit the right candidate. 

The successful candidate will:

  •        have the ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning for our students.  
  •         possess a track record of successful teaching practice, underpinned by strong subject knowledge.
  •         have highly developed communication and organisation skills combined with the ability to engage, enthuse and motivate our students to achieve their potential. 
  •         QTS or QLTS

The post holder will teach Psychology to our A level students  therefore, please detail clearly in your application units you have previously taught and detail your relevant experience.

You will be joining a strong department of experienced and committed teachers.
