We are looking to appoint an ambitious and highly effective leader to join the Senior Leadership Team, working under the direction of the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher to lead and embed exceptional standards of behaviour for learning and accountability across the school.
The Assistant Headteacher will support the Headteacher/Deputy Headteacher with:
• Communicating the school’s vision compellingly and supporting the headteacher’s strategic leadership
• The day-to-day management of the school
• Formulating the aims and objectives of the school
• Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives
• Managing staff and resources to that end
• Monitoring progress towards meeting the school’s aims and objectives
The specific role and responsibilities of the AHT will be discussed and decided upon to support the skills and attributes of the successful candidate.

• Has a passion for helping pupils thrive and meet their full potential
• Has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with staff and pupils
• Can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.
• Has experience of working in a similar school
