We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced leader to join the leadership team. Working under the direction of the Headteacher/Deputy Headteacher.
We are specifically looking for an expert practitioner to drive standards across student behaviour for learning, and to equip staff with strategies to support behaviour in their classrooms.
We currently have a Deputy Headteacher that oversees Quality of Education and a further Deputy Headteacher for Behaviour and Attitudes, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate impact across these areas and be successful in their collaboration to foster successful learners and outstanding practitioners.
The Assistant Headteacher will support the Headteacher/Deputy Headteacher with:
• Communicating the school’s vision compellingly and supporting the headteacher’s strategic leadership
• The day-to-day management of the school
• Formulating the aims and objectives of the school
• Establishing policies for achieving these aims and objectives
• Managing staff and resources to that end
• Monitoring progress towards meeting the school’s aims and objectives
The specific role and responsibilities of the AHT will be discussed and decided upon to support the skills and attributes of the successful candidate, alongside the needs of the school and the knowledge, skills and attributes of the wider senior team.
