We are looking to recruit a highly driven and self-motivated leader who
can lead and develop the strategic direction for the Academy’s pastoral care
and wider provision. The right candidate would be an enthusiastic person with
vision, compassion, creative, forward thinking and proven leadership skills to
join our SLT at The Sele School and work in close partnership with the
Headteacher in leading the school in Attendance, Behaviour and Personal Development.
The role requires a leader who is visible, approachable and able to
model the highest professional standards. The Deputy Headteacher will act
as a key link between staff and the Headteacher, ensuring clear
communication, consistent expectations and smooth operational running of
the school
You will be a leader who will follow and consistently apply policy, be keen
for growth, with high aspirations for self and others. Excellent management,
organisational and leadership skills are a must with a history of being an
outstanding practitioner who has taught across the secondary age range and/or
pupils with SEND.
The successful candidate will take full responsibility for leading and
managing significant aspects of the school as directed by the Headteacher, be a
strong role model to staff, pupils and parents and assist the Senior Leadership Team in shaping a vision and direction of the school by setting high
expectations and a clear focus on pupil achievement.
