The
successful candidate will be keen to work alongside an established team
determined to create an excellent learning experience for all of our
students. The successful candidate would
be responsible for the delivery of the KS3 curriculum in History, Geography and
Religious Education. Our vision is to
ensure all learners develop the skills needed to achieve success in their
examinations as well as developing a lifelong interest in Humanities
subjects. We aim to develop each
student’s ability to work independently and become critical thinkers. You would inspire and motivate young people
to learn about both past and current events and understand how these help them
to fit into the current world in which they live. We endeavour to ensure that
all students benefit from enrichment opportunities and provide access to a wide
range of trips and visits. We would

The position
would suit either an ECT seeking a first appointment within a forward-thinking
school or a more experienced teacher wishing to develop their experience and
curriculum management skills.

This post is classed as having a high degree of contact with children or vulnerable adults and is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
