We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic
and operationally skilled leader to manage our pastoral intervention programmes. The role will be based in our onsite inclusion
provision (Orchard Centre) and our onsite emotional based non-attender
provision (The Nest).
A successful candidate will be able to manage and lead a
team focused on high expectations whilst providing valuable care and support to
students, ensuring their wellbeing and educational needs are met whilst using strategies
to support positive behaviour.
The role involves co-ordination with the whole school
pastoral team to identify students who require additional support and
implementing appropriate interventions. Therefore, we are looking for a
candidate with drive and excellent communication skills linked to stakeholder
involvement, behaviour management and conflict resolution and restorative
conversations.
Operational leadership for the day to day running of both
provisions is also a key aspect of the role, along with data analysis to
support targeted and successful interventions and collaborative working. Building
strong relationships with Pastoral colleagues, Alternative Provision Providers
and our Senior Leader for Alternative Pathways will also form an integral part
of the role.
The ideal candidate will therefore be dynamic and
forward-thinking with a passion to support students and allow all to reach
their full potential and shine brightly.
