About this Role

We are looking to recruit a reliable, energetic, professional Site Assistant to join our pro-active site team. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the suitability, availability and compliance of our school premises, facilities and systems. This contributes to our school community working in a clean, safe and well maintained secure environment.  

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the security of the school site, acting as a key holder and supporting emergency call outs
  • Support school lettings
  • Support the effective operation of cleaning within the school
  • Porterage duties
  • Prepare for school events
  • Support the working of our building systems
  • General maintenance and safety

What we're looking for:

  • An organised and friendly team player
  • Someone willing to work hard and use initiative
  • A practical approach to problem solving
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
  • Expected to share the Trust's high aspirations and expectations of pupils and staff

Working Pattern:

  • This is a full time role (37 hour per week), working all year round, with annual leave plus bank holidays. 
  • A flexible approach and willingness to occasionally cover colleagues during busy periods, annual leave or periods of absence
