Permanent Contract - Full time 37 hours per week

Term Time Only (incl INSET days) + 1 week during school holidays

Single Status Grade 4, Points 9-10 Salary £25,185 - £25,583 (pro rata)

Actual Salary £22,315 - £22,668

Start date: September 2026

Cavendish School is looking to appoint a compassionate and organised individual to be our Attendance and Medical Assistant in our all through school. The role is based in our secondary phase in a busy environment.

You will be working alongside staff in the school to promote positive attitudes towards pupils' school attendance and ensure the health and well-being of pupils. 

Main duties will include;

  • Serve as the first point of contact for injuries, illnesses and medical conditions

  • Administer first aid and medicines and maintain accurate medical records.

  • Monitor daily attendance and punctuality, tracking patterns of absence

  • Communicate promptly with parents/carers to resolve attendance queries
